Could I use a MiniDV camera for video input (ignoring its microphone) but a USB microphone for sound input at the same time in iMovie?
Off the top of my head I believe you would only be able to import the video and audio from the DV camera at the same time, you would need to use an external mic which was connected to the camera itself or add in your mic sound in post.

I just tried Jailbreaking my Ipod 4th Gen, 4.1.2 with PwnageTool. Everything is fine until I have to restore it, I have gotten three different errors so far, one was 8, the other was 1604 and I forget the third.
I can successfully enter DFU mode and choose which firmware I need to restore with, it's just unsuccessful when I try restoring it, theres either an error, or Cydia doesn't appear and it says "Restore Complete"

Sorry I cant find the answer when I searched. I see you can do the thunderbolt to an HDMI adapter but can it transmit audio?
This new imac will be replacing a mac mini that has hdmi out to my tv "in another room" so it is crucial that its transmits audio over hdmi as well...

I agree with the notion that people should try to take steps to avoid risk, and that people can greatly reduce personal risk by making safer choices.
But this nugget of wisdom does not really touch on the substance of the issue arising in the OP, to wit - how much responsiblity does a rape victim carry? Or, to turn the question around, how much of the rape is not the rapist's fault?
What kind of twisted logic hears of a rape decides that looking "like a prostitute" is the salient feature of the case? What about the crazed deviant who committed the crime in the first place? Indeed, I think Gelfin's analogy is apt - if a smartly-dressed man is mugged, should we simply shrug our shoulders and say "well, he looked like he had a lot of money so he was asking for it. I am actually trying to find several Think Different posters for our new Mac Lab at our High School. I don't even mind if they are authentic and would actually prefer something more affordable.
The Think Different posters would add a great touch but would like to find any Apple related posters I could frame and decorate our new lab.

Are you referring to Lord of the Rings Online or are you referring to something else? Lord of the Rings Online is a Windows based game so you would need to run it on Bootcamp or through a program like Parallels.

The underlying ideas of Notes and its databases is really very good and the programming ability is not too hard to pick up.
But,
The interface of Notes is frankly horrendous and epitomises IBM and Lotus's inability to stick with the program when it comes to following interface trends.
my biggest bug-bear on the PC with notes is the F5 button. Within windows hitting F5 will nearly always refresh the display . . . especially useful for windows explorer and email clients.
but hit F5 in Notes and oh look . . . logged out of the system. Please enter your password. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
overall, i like it, but the constant divergent drive from trying to integrate the interface to something the rest of the world is used to ( Mac / Linux / Windows ) is a PITA.

You can do that with something like Podcaster or Instacast, but not with the stock iPhone.
